Heavenly Father, thank you for being the Creator of Life. You are worthy of praise because only you can give the gift of life. May this baby blessing prayer find favor with you.
I pray to seek your will for a precious newborn baby you have given me/us.
Forgive me/us of anything known or unknown that would hinder this prayer and your favor. Allow my/our heart(s) to be pure before you to declare a blessing.
You knew this baby before entering the womb, the Bible says. Therefore, I trust you know your plans and purposes for my baby. Equip me to parent in a manner that leads my baby to have a fulfilled life. Protect my baby. Thank you for the heavenly angel assigned to my little one.
Show and teach me how to encourage my baby on good and bad days. Give me the love and patience to be a good steward of the gift you have given me. Thank you for choosing me to raise my baby. Give this baby passions that are from you (math, science, art, music, sports, cooking, sewing, architecture, leadership, teaching, writing, etc.). May I recognize the goodness you have instilled in my baby and not miss their unique qualities.
As I pray and read scripture, confirm how I can help facilitate your will in my baby's life. I acknowledge all life is valuable and a gift from you, God. You do not make a mistake but are an intentional God. May my baby feel your love and know you care about them individually.
Reveal your perfect plan for this little one. May no derailments cancel your ideal plan, but redirect when needed. May my baby come to know you, Father God, as Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at an early age.
Thank you, Creator, for the family and friends who will help guide this baby on life's journey. I pray that you would divinely be involved with my baby (speak the newborn's name).
